Founded in 2019 with one truck and a dream, Empire started as a one-man show with a mission to do roofing differently. What began as small repairs for neighbors quickly grew through word-of-mouth, thanks to honest work and neighborly service. Today, we’re a trusted local team still grounded in the same values that got us here.
Over the years, we’ve grown our team, our services, and our impact but we’ve never outgrown our roots. We still show up with the same work ethic, friendliness, and commitment that got us through those first few jobs.

The Humble Beginning
With nothing more than a rusty truck, a few tools, and a strong work ethic, Ricardo Lopez Sandoval began his career in the roofing industry after graduating from Apopka High School in 2013. Over the years, he gained hands-on experience working as a roofing installer, sales representative, and foreman for several roofing companies throughout Central Florida with his Dad (Tomas Lopez). Those experiences helped shape his vision of building a company founded on integrity, craftsmanship, and exceptional customer service.

In 2019, Ricardo and his wife, Amanda Feliciano, officially incorporated the company and took the first major step toward turning their dream into reality. Amanda, who also graduated from Apopka High School in 2013, played a critical role in building the business from the ground up. While Ricardo focused on operations, production, and serving customers in the field, Amanda worked tirelessly behind the scenes, managing administrative tasks, customer communication, scheduling, and the countless responsibilities that come with starting a small business. Their shared dedication, long hours, and commitment to serving their community became the foundation of the company.

This was the year we leveled up! We added a project manager, expanded our crew, and introduced drone inspections. We also moved into our first small office space and rebranded with a new logo and fresh website.

“Best Local Roofing Company”. Our customer base doubled, and we trained all staff in prefer contractor insurance practices and energy-efficient roofing systems. We also gave back sponsoring community and offering free roof repairs for low-income families.

Although our name is changing, our commitment remains the same: delivering quality workmanship, honest communication, and professional service that homeowners and property owners can rely on.
